ideas part from my homework
Ideas are in my opinion the many sponges we have that absorb information when we were not paying attention. We absorbed something not only by our environment, but by our experience and the people that are in our lives and cross our paths. Not all our memories will be helpful in giving us ideas but the ones that really stimulated our brains would come to the forefront and shine some light on something that we are working on. We all learn differently some people are visual and others are very hands on and our brains work parallel how to learn and begins to absorb specifically to the best way we can recall things.
As we grow up we learn what things cause our brain to ignite with creativity, it might be drawing or sketching, surfing, skateboarding, reading, writing, watching movies, going on walks or runs. Any number of things can bring upon creativity to the individual that is stimulated in that way. Ideas come from things that gave us an emotional high or an emotional low. Things that caused our hearts to flutter and things that caused our hearts to break and ache. I can’t say that where ideas do and don’t come from because we are all affected differently and see things in
different light and walked very diverse paths in our life.
What are techniques for creating a lot of ideas? I would have to say in order to bring a lot of ideas to the forefront for me is I like to look at others artwork and read stories of people and artists that were in my shoes a number of years ago and they overcame diversity and struggles to make a dream a reality and I like to look at certain drawings and challenge myself to be able to not only replicate the piece of artwork but to also master similar techniques that allowed me to make an advancement in my skill as an artist. That I have to realize that there is never going to be a perfect technique for me and I must not only in art but in life be able to be open up and be open to new ideas.
How can I become a better artist, obviously practice is a necessity but along with that I must find things in the field of art that I like and watch and absorb. I have to find others techniques to spark my curiosity I have to find something that makes me smile and makes me happy. It is hard to accomplish this but I feel that when I am finished with a piece of artwork I like it to bring me back to when I was a child and took a thousand tries to make something look just the way I wanted to. The feeling that overcame me when I had finally accomplished that. A sense of pride and accomplishment. Being able to successfully take what is in my mind and put it onto paper so that others can have a better understanding of something that is in my head and understand and relate is one of the greatest feelings I have ever experienced.
